At present, Malakoff is the leading IPP in Malaysia with an effective capacity of 6,346 MW comprising of 6 power plants that run on oil, coal and gas. On the international front, as an independent water and power producer (IWPP), Malakoff owns a net capacity of approximately 690 MW of power production and 444,800 m³/day of water desalination. Malakoff’s overseas projects are located in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Australia and Oman. Malakoff was successfully listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Berhad on 15 May 2015. This was one of the largest Initial Public Offering in South East Asia in 2015.
