Central-Asian Electric Power Corporation JSC (“CAEPCO”) is a vertically integrated power utility holding company in Kazakhstan, with businesses in generation, distribution and sale of heat and power. The company owns and operates coal-based combined heat and power plants and related distribution networks located in Northern Kazakhstan, namely Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar and Ekibastuz. CAEPCO also owns a heat and power sales company in Astana, as well as an electricity distribution and sales company in Akmola. The company operates through 4 subsidiaries and has grown its asset base to total installed power generation capacity of 1,203MW, heat generation capacity of 2,953Gcal/h, more than 50.5km of electricity transmission lines and about 990km of heating networks.
